Happy is the kind of dog who brings light wherever she goes. Despite being abandoned out in the country and left to fend for herself, this sweet girl has held onto her joyful spirit and loving heart.

She wandered onto a kind family’s property looking for safety, and thankfully, they stepped up to care for her while we search for the forever home she truly deserves. They’ve searched for an owner, posted everywhere they could, and no one has come for her.

But through it all, Happy has remained exactly that—happy.

Happy absolutely adores human attention. She’s always wagging her tail, always ready for affection, and has such a calm, loving presence. She enjoys playing, going for walks, and simply spending time beside the people she loves.

One of the most impressive things about Happy is how wonderfully she walks on a leash—she stays close, attentive, and calm, making outings with her such a joy.

She’s currently staying in an outdoor kennel on the property where she was found, and while she’s been easy to care for and incredibly resilient, this situation is only temporary. Happy deserves so much more than a kennel and uncertainty—she deserves a real home, a soft bed, and people who will never leave her behind again.
