Pet Story:
β¨πΎ Meet Rhett πΎβ¨
Sometimes loving a dog means making the hardest decision of all.
Rhett’s family loves him deeply, but after a major life change, they’re no longer able to give him the life he truly needs. What was once a home with a large yard to run and explore has become apartment living, and for a high-energy boy like Rhett, it’s simply not enough.
They’re making this heartbreaking decision because they love him enough to put his happiness first. β€οΈ

Rhett is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion.
He absolutely loves to run, play, and have a job to do. Whether it’s hiking, playing fetch, learning agility, or simply exploring outdoors, Rhett comes alive when he has an outlet for his energy.
But once he’s had a chance to burn that energy?
He’s all about the cuddles.
He’s the kind of dog who wants to curl up beside you, lean into your hugs, and remind you just how much he loves his people.
Because of everything he’s been through recently, Rhett does take Prozac for anxiety, and his family will send him home with several months of medication, along with his flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Rhett isn’t a “problem dog.”
He’s simply a working-breed mix who needs the lifestyle he was built for.
The ideal home for Rhett would have:
π‘ A fenced yard or plenty of space to run
π₯Ύ An active person or family
πΎ Daily physical and mental enrichment
β€οΈ Someone willing to give him a little time to settle in
In return, you’ll get one incredibly loyal, goofy, loving companion who will happily be your adventure partner by day and your cuddle buddy by night.
His family is making this decision with broken hearts because they want him to have the life he deserves.
Could you be the one to give it to him? πΎβ€οΈ
