Imagine pulling into your own front yard and finding a confused young dog standing there…

Because someone had just dumped him and driven away. 💔

That’s how Boone’s story with us began.

Last week, a family in the countryside watched a car abandon this sweet boy near their home and simply drive off. Boone was left behind with no idea where he was or why the people he trusted weren’t coming back.

Thankfully, he landed in front of the right house. ❤️

The family took him in and made sure he was safe, and now we’re working to find Boone the foster or forever home he deserves.

🐾 Approximately 10 months old
🐾 Believed to be a Lab mix
🐾 Dog friendly
🐾 Sweet as pie
🐾 Young, loving, and ready for a fresh start
🐾 Looking for a foster OR adopter

Despite the way he was treated, Boone hasn’t let it change his sweet heart.

He’s friendly, loving, and enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s still a young boy with his whole life ahead of him, and we want to make sure the rest of his story looks nothing like the beginning.

Boone doesn’t know that being abandoned wasn’t his fault.

He doesn’t know why that car drove away.

He just knows that he’s ready to love someone again.

And we know there’s a family out there who will look at this sweet boy and see exactly what we see:

A dog worth choosing. ❤️

Right now, Boone needs either a foster home where he can safely stay while we search for his family, or even better…

Someone ready to make sure he never gets left behind again.
