Pet Story: Dixie is one of three siblings born as strays who found refuge on a kind local man’s property. Concerned for their safety and wellbeing, he reached out to us—and we were happy to step in and help give them a chance at a better life 💛

We believe Dixie is around 4–5 months old, and she truly lives up to her name. She’s as sweet as pie, gentle, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She has a submissive nature, but once she’s comfortable and understands her place in a pack, she absolutely loves to play!

🐾 A Little More About Dixie: • Likely a pit mix (breed is our best guess!) • Friendly with other dogs • Smart, gentle, and eager to learn • Has not lived in a home yet, so she’ll need potty training and basic house rules • Very intelligent—she’s expected to pick things up quickly • Will be up to date on shots next week
