For months, Maggie Lu waited.

She sat in a shelter kennel watching other dogs leave with their families… while she stayed behind. Day after day. Week after week. Since last November, Maggie Lu was the longest resident at the shelter, patiently hoping her turn would come.

And now, finally, it has. ❤️ We pulled Maggie Lu into the rescue so her story could have the fresh start she deserves.

Maggie Lu is 3 years old, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She’s also dog friendly and truly one of the sweetest girls you could ever meet.

Her favorite thing in the world? Hugs.

Maggie Lu absolutely loves to cuddle. She leans into you for affection, soaks up every bit of love she can get, and looks at you like you’re her whole world.
