Some dogs lose everything overnight.

Kiefer lost the only home he had ever known when his owner passed away. 💔

He and his two canine siblings suddenly found themselves with nowhere to go. The family member who inherited them desperately tried to find help, but every shelter was full. Feeling like he had run out of options, he made the heartbreaking decision to take them to the veterinarian to be euthanized.

But that wasn’t the end of Kiefer’s story.

By pure chance, the founder of Helmstead Holler Haven Animal Rescue was at the veterinary office that very day. She stepped in immediately and told them we would take the dogs.

Even more incredible, two compassionate people working at the vet’s office fell in love with one of Kiefer’s brother and gave him a forever home.

Now it’s Kiefer’s turn. ❤️
