Seven years of loyalty.

Seven years of loving his family.

And now, through no fault of his own, Max is looking for a new place to call home.

His family is moving and, heartbreakingly, can’t take him with them. Their greatest wish is simply to find someone who will love him for the rest of his life.

Max has to find his new home by August 20th.

🐾 Up to date on vaccines
🐾 House trained
🐾 Walks well on a harness
🐾 Loves toys more than anything!
🐾 Best as the only dog
🐾 No small children (he gets excited and jumps)
🐾 Prefers a peaceful, country setting

Max is the kind of dog who knows exactly what makes him happy.

A yard to explore.

A favorite toy to carry around.

And people he can call his own.

He’s happiest stretching his legs outdoors, sniffing around the yard, and enjoying the quiet life. While he prefers spending most of his time outside, he’s brought indoors during extreme weather—and even then, he’d often rather be back outside keeping an eye on everything.

His absolute favorite thing in the world?

His toys.

Give Max a toy, and you’ll have one happy dog. Watching him proudly carry one around with his tail wagging is enough to make anyone smile.

Because Max can be selective with other animals, he’d do best as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention. He would thrive with someone who understands his personality, enjoys a slower pace of life, and has a yard where he can safely roam and enjoy the outdoors.

After seven years with one family, this transition is a big one for Max.

He isn’t looking for perfection.
