Palmer is an incredibly sweet, lovable boy with a calm and easygoing personality. He’s just as happy spending time with his people as he is stretching out in the grass and soaking up the sunshine.

Palmer is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be entertained every second of the day.

If you’re outside, he’ll happily lounge in the grass nearby.

If you want to play, he’s ready to join you.

And if you’re having a quiet day at home, Palmer is perfectly content simply hanging out with his people.

He has a gentle, even-tempered nature with humans and truly enjoys their companionship. He’s smart, affectionate, and has that wonderful ability to match the energy of the people around him.

Palmer does need one thing from his future family:

He would be happiest as the only dog. ❤️

While Palmer loves his humans, he isn’t comfortable consistently sharing his space with other dogs and can become reactive with them. He can also guard food around other dogs, so we’re looking for a home where Palmer can be the one and only pup.

And honestly?

We think he’d be perfectly happy having all that love to himself. 😂💛

Palmer isn’t asking for a house full of canine friends.

He wants people.

A yard where he can stretch out in the sunshine.

A family to spend his days with.

And a home where his boundaries are understood and respected.
