At Helmstead Holler Haven, we believe every animal deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue, we are dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and homeless animals — giving them shelter, care, and most importantly, love — until they find their forever homes.

But we can’t do it without you.

Whether you’re looking to open your heart to a new furry family member or support our mission through donations, your help directly saves lives. Every dollar helps provide food, medical care, and safe shelter. Every adoption gives an animal a second chance.

We understand that adopting a pet is a big commitment, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Because we are a nonprofit rescue, adoption fees are non-refundable. These fees, along with donations, allow us to continue providing critical care to the animals in our program.

In most cases, adoption fees are used very quickly to cover essential needs such as veterinary care, food, supplies, and rescuing additional animals who are still waiting for help. Because these funds are put to use right away to support the animals in our care, we are unable to offer refunds once an adoption has been completed.
